Food Made Simple

By: Jade John
There are all kinds of foods around the world that you may be interested in. From salty to sweet, there are various simple recipes that can be made within a matter of minutes, opposed to hours. Lindsay, the author of "Pinch of Yum" (https://pinchofyum.com October 17th, 2017) presents a number of foods that are tasty but are not time consuming.
One of the recipes named, "Instant Pot pumpkin walnut Chili" is a great example of a meal that may seem complex but in hindsight is very simple. Lindsay does a good job of explaining each and every food along with organizing the foods by breakfast, lunch and dinner. She includes very vibrant pictures and descriptions, which attracted me to her blog. Additionally, in Lindsay's descriptions, she includes great word choice such as "tasty", "delicious" , "delightful" etc... The more we as people find recipes to cook at home, is the more that we can eat at home instead of eating fast food. Eating home-made-food is not only healthier, but it is a way for families to come together and bond. Blogs like the one above, give people all around the word a chance to find the foods that they like along with a guide to help them through the cooking process.
